BELSIZE PARK NW3: Daily Nanny (G2.5 years) – November onwards
Monday–Friday | 35 hours term time / 50 hours nursery holidays | sole charge | non-driver | No travel | Salary open depending on experience
A lovely professional family in Belsize Park is looking for a warm, engaging and experienced Daily Nanny for their happy and outgoing little girl, aged 2.5 years.
This is a sole-charge position with a very settled family who have employed their current nanny since their daughter was just 4.5 months old who is moving away from London, so the family are hoping to find someone equally warm, reliable and committed to take over her care.
Their daughter is a confident, sociable and happy little girl who attends a local nursery each morning, conveniently located just down the road from the family home. The parents are keen to find a nanny who is affectionate, fun and relaxed in approach, whilst also able to provide good, age-appropriate boundaries and consistency.
Hours: The role will therefore be contracted on a combined/averaged-hours basis across the year.
- During nursery term time:Monday to Friday, 12.00–7.00 pm, 35 hours per week
- During nursery holidays:Monday to Friday, approximately 8.30 am–6.30 pm, 50 hours per week
Duties:
- The nanny will take responsibility for all usual nursery duties and the little girl's day-to-day care, including nursery collection, preparing healthy meals, children's laundry and keeping her areas organised. Afternoons will include arranging local classes, activities, playdates, outings to parks and playgrounds, and providing plenty of stimulating and age-appropriate play at home.
- Both parents work professionally and they are looking for someone dependable who will work in partnership with them while being confident in sole charge.
- The family is based close to Belsize Park Underground, with Swiss Cottage also accessible.
- A driver is not required and there is no travel with the position.
Their current nanny leaves at the end of October, so an November start onwards would be ideal, although the family can offer some flexibility for the right person.
Salary: Open and dependent on experience and qualifications.
