Overview
Assistant General Manager – Colchester (Tollgate), Colchester, Essex, CO3 8PB.
Full time role.
This position reports to the restaurant leadership team and focuses on leading the team, delivering excellent PERi-PERi service, and ensuring a consistently high guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Live and breathe the Nando's brand and values; motivate and engage the team.
- Drive development of the team and identify talent for current and future management roles.
- Ensure the Nando's customer journey is carried out on shift, every day, across all channels.
- Lead in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and maintain customer obsession to deliver a high-quality experience.
- Partner with the restaurant leadership team to manage operations, guest satisfaction, and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Previous management experience and energy to inspire and motivate a team.
- Strong passion for people, food, hospitality, and delivering excellent service.
- Customer-focused mindset and ability to deliver consistent, high-quality service to guests, including in their homes when applicable.
- Comfortable with a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and a willingness to learn and develop.
- Ability to spot great talent and support succession planning for future managers.
