The Role
We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic who wants to be part of a team delivering exceptional drinks and service in a buzzy, exciting venue. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, reliable and proactive, and who takes pride in supporting a busy bar team to keep service running smoothly. As a Barback, you will play an important part in the flow of the bar, helping maintain standards, supporting your colleagues during service, and contributing to the overall guest experience.
There will also be opportunities to develop within the role, including learning more about drinks and cocktails, helping with a small but elegant food menu, and taking on more guest interaction over time. You will also need to be able to join the team in May, ready for pre-opening training and ready to set off with style on launch night.
Requirements
- Restock the bar throughout service
- Wash and polish glasses efficiently and to a high standard
- Keep the bar section clean, organised, and ready for service
- Support colleagues during busy periods by refilling ice, clearing glasses, and helping where needed
- Stay aware of the team around you and respond quickly to what service requires
- Help maintain a smooth and efficient service environment behind the bar
- Take pride in supporting the wider team and contributing to the overall atmosphere of the venue
