Nancy's is London Bridge's newest premium cocktail destination. Landmark views, a late license, serious drinks and a space designed to bring a little 70s spirit back to London nightlife.

Having opened in June, Nancy's is going from strength to strength and we're looking to expand our amazing management team. We're looking for dynamic hospitality professionals who can help us elevate the guest experience and deliver the tailored service we want to achieve.

The Role

As Assistant Manager, you will be at the heart of Nancy’s, helping the team deliver smooth service, keeping operations flowing, and controlling the look, feel, and ambience of the room. As the venue continues to expand, building a second bar and fourth room, so will our staffing levels and so too will our management team.

Working closely with the Floor Manager, General Manager and Head Bartender you will help develop Nancy's style of service and culture, working towards the vision and goals already established while bringing your own flair to the venue. You will train and develop the team to deliver the level of service and experience befitting a new and exciting cocktail bar, while building a strong understanding of our drinks programme and menu across the floor team.

A particular area of focus will be venue management and shift planning, taking control of a busy evening service with all the excitement and challenges that busy bars delivering high-end service bring. With the multiple rooms, our potential for private hires and parties is huge. We are in the process of streamlining our systems to maximise these offerings. Our Assistant Manager and Floor Manager, along with our Host Team will be the key to unlocking this potential.

Requirements

  • Support the day-to-day running of the venue and help ensure service is smooth, polished, and well paced
  • Build strong knowledge of Nancy’s drinks programme and menu, and help embed that knowledge across the team
  • Develop clear and effective communication between the floor, host, and bar teams
  • Help create and maintain the look, feel, and ambience of the room throughout service
  • Help foster a collaborative, positive culture across the operation

What we’re looking for

  • Passion for the cocktail world and all that comes with it
  • Experience in a management role within a busy hospitality venue
  • Strong floor presence and confidence leading service
  • A genuine passion for hospitality, guest experience, and drinks
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills
  • The ability to train and develop a new team
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency in service standards
  • A collaborative and proactive approach

Benefits

Nancy’s offers the chance to be part of an exciting new opening with a distinctive identity and a strong point of view. From the cocktail list to the music and overall guest experience, every part of the venue is designed to be polished, energetic, and memorable. Joining our team means the opportunity to make your mark in London's newest, most exciting cocktail bar and the wider cocktail scene.

What we offer: £55,000 per year, including guaranteed tronc, with the potential for more. Full-time role.

If you are passionate about hospitality, love cocktails, and want to be part of the opening team at Nancy’s, we would love to hear from you.
