Be part of Nancy’s story. Nancy's is London Bridge's newest premium cocktail destination, with landmark views, a late license, serious drinks, and a space designed to bring a little 70s spirit back to London nightlife. Having opened in June, Nancy's is going from strength to strength, and we're looking to expand our amazing team. We're looking for quality hospitality professionals who can help us elevate the guest experience and deliver the tailored service we want to achieve.
The Role: We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic who wants to be part of a team delivering exceptional drinks and service in a buzzy, exciting venue. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, reliable, and proactive, and who takes pride in supporting a busy bar team to keep service running smoothly. As a Barback, you will play an important part in the flow of the bar, helping maintain standards, supporting your colleagues during service, and contributing to the overall guest experience. There will also be opportunities to develop within the role, including learning more about drinks and cocktails and taking on more guest interaction over time. We're looking for people who'd like 3-4 shifts a week, with good availability from Thursday to Saturday nights, where we close to guests at 2am.
Main Responsibilities:
- Restock the bar throughout service
- Wash and polish glasses efficiently and to a high standard
- Keep the bar section clean, organised, and ready for service
- Support colleagues during busy periods by refilling ice, clearing glasses, and helping where needed
- Stay aware of the team around you and respond quickly to what service requires
- Help maintain a smooth and efficient service environment behind the bar
- Take pride in supporting the wider team and contributing to the overall atmosphere of the venue
What we’re looking for:
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
- A reliable and team-focused approach
- Good organisation and awareness in a busy working environment
- A willingness to support colleagues wherever needed
- The ability to work efficiently and stay calm during busy services
- An interest in hospitality, drinks, and developing within the role
35-45 hours a week availability on our busiest days (Thursday to Saturday).
Why join Nancy’s? Nancy’s offers the chance to be part of an exciting new bar with a distinctive identity and a strong point of view. From the cocktail list to the music and overall guest experience, every part of the venue is designed to be polished, energetic, and memorable. We'd like to help you grow, in the same way you'll help us grow.
What we offer:
- £18.00 per hour, with base rate and tronc, up to £21 on good weeks.
- 35-45 hours a week
- The chance to be part of an exciting new cocktail bar in London Bridge
If you are passionate about hospitality, love cocktails, and want to be part of the team at Nancy’s, we would love to hear from you.
