We are seeking a highly organised, service-driven, and proactive Assistant Reservations Manager to support the day-to-day operation of the Reservations Department at Nammos London. This role is responsible for ensuring an exceptional guest journey from the first point of contact, maximising restaurant occupancy, and supporting the Reservations Manager in leading the reservations team.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, outstanding organisational abilities, and a passion for delivering luxury guest experiences in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Reservations Manager in overseeing the daily operation of the Reservations Department.
  • Ensure all reservations are handled professionally, accurately, and in line with company standards.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service via telephone, email, and online booking platforms.
  • Manage guest enquiries, special requests, VIP reservations, and complaint resolution with professionalism and discretion.
  • Maximise restaurant occupancy while maintaining an exceptional guest experience.
  • Monitor reservation trends, cancellations, no-shows, and waitlists to optimise covers.
  • Coordinate closely with Restaurant Managers, Hosts, Events, Concierge teams, and senior management regarding reservations and guest preferences.
  • Maintain accurate guest profiles and CRM information.
  • Assist in creating seating plans and ensuring efficient table allocation.
  • Support the management, training, coaching, and development of the reservations team.
  • Ensure all reservation systems are maintained accurately and updated promptly.
  • Produce daily and weekly reservation reports as required.
  • Monitor team performance and ensure compliance with company policies and service standards.
  • Act as the department lead in the absence of the Reservations Manager.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements within the reservations operation.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience as a Senior Reservations Agent, Reservations Supervisor, or Assistant Reservations Manager within a luxury restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of reservation management systems (SevenRooms, OpenTable, ResDiary, or similar).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom.
