Reporting to the Head of Product, you will lead the end-to-end product development process, ensuring margin-aligned, technically sound, on-time delivery of commercially viable product in line with brand direction and trading requirements.

Product & Critical Path Ownership
- Own and manage the full product critical path from design handover through to warehouse intake.
- Maintain the product development calendar, ensuring milestones are met across sampling, approvals, and production.
- Ensure first-time sample accuracy and technical readiness prior to production.
- Oversee garment technology standards, including sizing, fit consistency, materials, and performance specifications.
- Identify and resolve risks across development and production timelines.
Cost Price & Margin Delivery
- Deliver cost prices in line with agreed margin targets.
- Manage cost negotiations with suppliers within agreed commercial parameters.
- Monitor cost changes and flag risks to margin early.
- Drive cost efficiencies across development and production while maintaining product quality and brand standards.
- Own production planning and execution across all product categories.
- Manage factory relationships, ensuring clear communication and reliable production performance.
- Negotiate and manage MOQs, payment terms, and capacity planning with suppliers.
- Oversee production timelines, ensuring products are manufactured to specification and delivered on schedule.
- Ensure on-time ex-factory dates and warehouse intake across all product drops.
Quality & Product Integrity
- Lead initiatives to reduce quality-related returns through improved development discipline and production oversight.
- Ensure consistent product quality standards across all suppliers.
- Monitor factory performance and support corrective action where needed.
- Maintain strong technical standards across product construction, materials, and finishing.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Design to translate creative concepts into technically feasible products.
- Work with Merchandising to ensure product builds meet commercial requirements and margin expectations.
- Align development timelines with Brand and Marketing campaign calendars to support launches and key trading moments.
- Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders on development progress, risks, and production timelines.
Team & Delivery Leadership
- Lead and manage the Product Development, Garment Technology, and Production teams.
- Set clear priorities across the development calendar and ensure accountability for delivery milestones.
- Support team development through coaching, feedback, and capability building.
- Maintain strong operational discipline across the product function to ensure consistent, scalable delivery.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Experience with product lifecycle management, from concept through to delivery.
- Proficiency in analysing production and supply chain data to inform strategic decisions.
- Deep knowledge of garment technology, materials, sizing, and performance specifications.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain management, including production planning, sourcing, supplier negotiation, and logistics.
- Expertise in quality assurance, ethical sourcing, and sustainability standards.
- Competence in managing multidisciplinary teams, setting OKRs, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Skilled in process optimisation, operational strategy, and cost management.
- Familiarity with product documentation, packaging specifications, and technical compliance requirements.
