Nam Song began after we fell in love with the incredible region of Asia whilst travelling on our gap year. When we got back home to Sheffield we set up our own coffee shop to share the Vietnamese Phin Filter Coffee we’d discovered on our travels, however we quickly became frustrated with the availability of high quality Asian Coffee in the UK. To solve this problem we have diversified Nam Song and created our own retail brand to champion specialty coffee exclusively from different origins in Asia. Nam Song is one of the most unique and original emerging Coffee brands in the UK and the popularity of our concept is evident with us having quickly gained early-stage traction in the hospitality, workspace, and retail sectors.
We are now looking for a Senior Wholesale Executive, that can be based anywhere in the country, to lead to new business growth and help us expand the footprint of our unique brand across the UK. In this role you will be responsible for the following:
- Wholesale & Business Development
- Identify and secure new long-term wholesale partners for our coffee and brewing products across our different operating sectors.
- Continually identify suitable prospective accounts and deliver consistent measurable sales growth.
- Create and communicate tailored proposals that carefully balance the needs of clients and our current offerings.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing wholesale partners, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat orders.
- Collaborate with partners on areas such as menu planning, training and marketing to maximise the potential of their coffee program.
- Work with internal teams — including roasting, production, and logistics — to ensure smooth delivery and exceptional customer experience.
- Track account performance, report on KPIs, and support retention and growth strategies.
- Maintain awareness of market trends, pricing dynamics, and emerging opportunities.
- Feed insights back into sourcing, roasting, and product development conversations.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong leadership, organisational and personable skills.
- 3-4 years in wholesale specialty coffee with strong hospitality and retail sales experience.
- Experience visiting Asia would be ideal but a general enthusiasm for travelling and experiencing the world is essential.
- An existing wide-reaching network within the UK café, hospitality and retail ecosystem.
- An excellent understanding of and interest in speciality coffee with the ability to effectively present product information and lead cuppings with clients.
- The ability to work independently with a commercially minded and structured approach leading to sales generation, new business acquisition and pipeline management.
- Strong communicator with excellent relationship-building skills.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and target-driven.
- Can be based anywhere in the country as we’re looking to expand all over the UK.
What we offer:
- The chance to be a key part in the growth of an emerging standout business that is unlike any other coffee brand.
- Competitive base salary depending on experience with uncapped commission opportunities based on performance.
- Travel Costs paid for.
- Employee discounts in-store and online.
- Additional holiday for each year of service with the company.
