Bridlington Town Council serves a community of over 38,000 registered electors and is seeking to recruit a town clerk. The council occupies its own offices within the town centre, and the successful applicant will be the proper officer of the council and, as such, is under a statutory duty to carry out all aspects of staff management, all functions and to serve all the notifications required by law of a local authority’s proper officer.
The town council seeks a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the team working to benefit the Bridlington community. The position is for 37 hours per week, subject to a 6-month probation review. The annual salary offered will begin at £40,000, depending on experience. We also offer an attractive pension package.
