The Employer Partnership Executive plays a critical role in driving North Hertfordshire College’s employer engagement strategy. This position is responsible for building and maintaining strong, mutually beneficial relationships with employers to support the college’s mission of delivering industry-relevant education and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with employers.
- Act as the main point of contact for employer queries and support.
- Promote North Hertfordshire College’s apprenticeship and workforce development offer.
- Convert leads generated through marketing campaigns and other sources.
- Identify opportunities for new partnerships and repeat business.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and track progress against KPIs.
- Gather employer feedback and share insights with curriculum teams.
- Support employer involvement in curriculum design and delivery.
- Facilitate guest lectures, projects, and work experience opportunities.
- Ensure all employer agreements meet funding and compliance requirements.
- Work closely with Business Support Officers to manage enrolment processes.
- Monitor lead flow and conversion rates.
- Report on employer engagement activity to the Business Development Steering Group.
Experience required includes recruitment, marketing, or sales, with Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Customer (B2C) experience in selling Government funded training. A clean driving license with access to a vehicle or the ability to travel county wide is necessary. Experience in a client-facing sales role within the education and skills sector on a national scale is also essential.
Ultimately, this position contributes to NHC’s strategic goal of being the partner of choice for employers in Hertfordshire, strengthening the college’s reputation as a leader in skills development and regional economic growth.
