About the Role:
- Deliver outstanding Accounting teaching across relevant programmes.
- Develop innovative and engaging learning resources.
- Monitor learner progress and provide timely interventions to maximise achievement.
- Support learners through excellent pastoral care and guidance.
- Lead course-level planning and curriculum development.
- Coordinate standardisation and quality assurance activities.
- Build strong relationships with employers, universities and other external stakeholders.
- Lead student recruitment, marketing and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and curriculum innovation across the department.
We are looking for a candidate who has:
- Essential
- Degree in Accounting or a relevant subject area.
- Teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent), or willingness to achieve one.
- Successful teaching experience within a relevant subject area.
- Strong IT and digital skills.
- A learner-centred approach to teaching and learning.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A genuine passion for education and student success.
- Desirable
- Recent industry experience or CPD within Accounting or Finance.
- Experience leading curriculum delivery, standardisation or course management activities.
