Business Teacher Required - Independent SEN School - September 2026. The school is an independent special school, dedicated to supporting children aged 7–19 years who have a range of additional needs. We pride ourselves on our nurturing environment, creative curriculum, and highly collaborative approach - ensuring every pupil feels understood, valued, and empowered to reach their potential.
To provide high quality teaching and learning experiences for students up to and including Key Stage 5 in Business Studies. This is a full-time post and is required for Autumn 2026.
- Experience working with children / young people with special educational needs (SEN) is essential.
- Proven experience teaching Business Studies up to and including Key Stage 5, with a strong track record of student achievement.
- GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade 4 (previously Grade C) in English and Maths.
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Degree in Business Studies, Economics, or a related field.
- Be passionate in using your knowledge of current theory and practice in teaching and learning, and SEND, to provide a highly effective curriculum delivery, in a stimulating and enjoyable way.
- Be an enthusiastic team player, willing to go above and beyond to facilitate the learning and experience of the young people in your care.
Pay range and compensation package: Competitive salary, dependent on experience and qualifications. Hours: Monday, Wednesdays and Thursdays 8.15am – 4.30pm, Tuesday 8.15am to 5.30pm (includes 1 hour CPD at the end of the day) Fridays 8.15am– 1.30pm (32 weeks plus inset days).
