Business Teacher Required - Independent SEN School - September 2026. The school is an independent special school, dedicated to supporting children aged 7–19 years who have a range of additional needs. We pride ourselves on our nurturing environment, creative curriculum, and highly collaborative approach - ensuring every pupil feels understood, valued, and empowered to reach their potential.
To provide high quality teaching and learning experiences for students up to and including Key Stage 5 in Business Studies. This is a full-time post and is required for Autumn 2026.
- Experience working with children / young people with special educational needs (SEN) is essential.
- Proven experience teaching Business Studies up to and including Key Stage 5, with a strong track record of student achievement.
- GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade 4 (previously Grade C) in English and Maths.
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Degree in Business Studies, Economics, or a related field.
Be passionate in using your knowledge of current theory and practice in teaching and learning, and SEND, to provide a highly effective curriculum delivery, in a stimulating and enjoyable way. Be an enthusiastic team player, willing to go above and beyond to facilitate the learning and experience of the young people in your care.
Pay range and compensation package: Competitive salary, dependent on experience and qualifications. Hours: Monday, Wednesdays and Thursdays 8.15am – 4.30pm, Tuesday 8.15am to 5.30pm (includes 1 hour CPD at the end of the day) Fridays 8.15am– 1.30pm (32 weeks plus inset days).
