About the Role
To provide high quality teaching and learning experiences for students up to and including Key Stage 5 in Business Studies. The ability to teach a second subject would be advantageous. This is a full-time post and is required for Autumn 2026.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children / young people with special educational needs (SEN) is essential.
- Proven experience teaching Business Studies up to and including Key Stage 5, with a strong track record of student achievement.
Required Skills
- GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade 4 (previously Grade C) in English and Maths.
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Degree in Business Studies, Economics, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Be passionate in using your knowledge of current theory and practice in teaching and learning, and SEND, to provide a highly effective curriculum delivery, in a stimulating and enjoyable way.
- Be an enthusiastic team player, willing to go above and beyond to facilitate the learning and experience of the young people in your care.
Pay range and compensation package
Competitive salary, dependent on experience and qualifications. £36-46k (actual salary).
Hours: Monday, Wednesdays and Thursdays 8.15am – 4.30pm, Tuesday 8.15am to 5.30pm (includes 1 hour CPD at the end of the day) Fridays 8.15am– 1.30pm (32 weeks plus inset days).
