Working days: Tuesday and Thursdays, plus 1 day marking
Duties:
- Deliver engaging, high‑quality training sessions aligned to the Teaching Assistant apprenticeship standards (Level 3) and Community Health and Wellbeing Standard (Level 3).
- Coach, mentor, and support apprentices throughout their learning journey, providing tailored guidance and feedback.
- Conduct workplace observations/assessments and progress reviews with employers to evidence competence against standards.
- Track learner progress, set clear targets, and maintain accurate records in line with funding and compliance requirements.
- Work collaboratively with employers to ensure apprentices apply skills effectively in their school settings.
- Prepare apprentices for End‑Point Assessment (EPA) through mock assessments and structured development plans.
- Adapt teaching strategies to support diverse learning needs, ensuring inclusive and accessible training.
Levels and qualification: PGCE/CERT-ED or equivalent teaching quals. Must have experience teaching apprenticeships in childcare/teaching assistants. Desirable Healthcare background.
