Nursery Manager Location: Stoke-on-Trent Salary: £35,360–£40,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week Contract: Permanent Start Date: ASAP Nala Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming and supportive nursery who are looking for an experienced Nursery Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional who is passionate about providing high-quality childcare and education and is ready to lead a team and play a key role in the continued success of the nursery. The Role As Nursery Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring children receive the highest standards of care, learning and development. You will lead and support the nursery team, creating a positive environment where both children and staff can thrive. Your responsibilities will include: * Taking overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the nursery * Leading, supporting and developing the nursery team * Ensuring the highest standards of care, education and safeguarding are maintained * Supporting the delivery of a high-quality Early Years curriculum * Creating an environment where children can build confidence, resilience and independence * Ensuring the nursery meets all relevant EYFS, safeguarding, health and safety requirements * Building strong and positive relationships with children, parents and families * Working closely with the Deputy Manager and wider nursery team * Supporting staff development through regular supervision, feedback and training * Monitoring the quality of teaching, learning and care across the nursery * Managing nursery policies, procedures and compliance requirements * Supporting recruitment, induction and performance management of staff * Maintaining strong relationships with parents and responding to any queries or concerns professionally * Contributing to the continued development and improvement of the nursery We’d love to talk to you if you have the following * A relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification * Previous experience in a Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager or senior Early Years leadership role * Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS * Experience leading, motivating and developing a team * Excellent communication and organisational skills * A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection * A passion for providing high-quality care and education * The ability to build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues * A positive, supportive and collaborative approach to leadership * A commitment to continuous improvement and professional development What’s on Offer Salary of £35,360–£40,000, depending on qualifications and experience Full-time hours, Monday–Friday Performance-related bonus Childcare discount Wellness benefits Opportunities for professional development and progression Supportive management and Early Years team Ongoing support from Nala Recruitment Interested?
