We are currently seeking a passionate and engaging Lecturer of Performing Arts to join a dynamic Further Education college on a temporary basis, starting after the Easter break through to the end of the academic year. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and motivated individual to inspire and develop students across a range of performing arts disciplines within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

The Role:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching across Performing Arts programmes (Level 2 and/or Level 3)
  • Plan and deliver engaging, practical and theory-based lessons
  • Support students in developing performance, creative, and technical skills
  • Contribute to rehearsals, showcases, and student productions
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience teaching Performing Arts within an FE setting (or similar)
  • A relevant degree or professional qualification in Performing Arts or related field
  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE / Cert Ed) or willingness to work towards one
  • Strong industry knowledge and the ability to bring real-world context into lessons
  • A passion for student development and creative education

Additional Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Availability to commit to the full contract period
