We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in the NG10 area. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils who require additional support, helping them thrive both academically and personally within a nurturing school environment.
Your Role Will Include:
- Providing tailored 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with additional needs
- Supporting children with Autism (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Speech & Language needs
- Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and independence
- Assisting with the delivery of personalised learning activities
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being
- Building strong relationships with pupils, teachers, and parents
- Helping to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience working with children or young people (preferred)
- Has SEN experience or a genuine interest in supporting learners with additional needs
- Is patient, caring, and resilient
- Possesses strong communication and teamwork skills
- Is passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives
- Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one
