Deputy Nursery Manager Location: Lincoln Salary: £15 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week Contract: Maternity Cover Start Date: ASAP Nala Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming and supportive nursery who are looking for an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional who is ready to take the next step in their career and play a key role in supporting the Nursery Manager and wider team. The Role As Deputy Nursery Manager, you will support the day-to-day management of the nursery, helping to ensure children receive the highest standards of care, learning and development. You will work closely with the Nursery Manager and wider team, providing leadership and support to ensure the nursery runs smoothly and effectively. Your responsibilities will include: * Supporting the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery * Providing leadership, guidance and support to the nursery team * Helping to maintain high standards of care, education and safeguarding * Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging learning experiences for children * Ensuring children’s individual needs are recognised and supported * Supporting the team to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment * Building strong and positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues * Supporting staff development, supervision and performance * Ensuring EYFS, safeguarding, health and safety requirements are followed * Assisting with nursery policies, procedures and compliance * Supporting the Nursery Manager with the smooth running of the nursery * Taking responsibility for the nursery in the Manager’s absence where required * Working collaboratively with the wider management team We’d love to talk to you if you have the following * A relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification * Previous experience working in an Early Years or nursery environment * Experience in a senior or leadership role within a nursery would be beneficial * Good knowledge and understanding of the EYFS * A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection * Excellent communication and organisational skills * The ability to lead, motivate and support a team * A caring and positive approach to working with children * The ability to build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues * A commitment to providing high-quality care and education What’s on Offer £15 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications Full-time hours, Monday–Friday 40 hours per week Maternity cover contract £1,000 welcome incentive Supportive working environment Opportunities for professional development A rewarding leadership opportunity within Early Years Ongoing support from Nala Recruitment Interested?
