Lunchtime Assistant Location: Chipping Norton Salary: 13.09ph to £13.70ph, depending on experience and qualifications Hours: 11am-2pm, 15 hours per week Contract: Permanent Start Date: ASAP Nala Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming and supportive nursery who are looking for a Lunchtime Assistant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years professional who enjoys working with young children and wants to play an important role in supporting their care and wellbeing during the lunchtime period. The Role As a Lunchtime Assistant, you will support the nursery team during lunch and help ensure children have a safe, enjoyable and positive experience. Your responsibilities will include: * Supporting children during lunchtime and meal times * Helping children with eating and drinking where appropriate * Creating a calm and positive environment during lunch * Supporting children with their personal care and hygiene needs * Ensuring children are supervised and safe at all times * Helping to maintain a clean, tidy and hygienic environment * Supporting the wider nursery team where required * Building positive relationships with children and colleagues * Following health, safety and safeguarding procedures at all times We’d love to talk to you if you have the following * An Early Years qualification at Level 2 or Level 3 * A caring and positive approach to working with children * Good communication and teamwork skills * A patient, reliable and responsible approach * A genuine interest in supporting children’s care and development * The ability to create a safe and nurturing environment What’s on Offer * Part-time lunchtime hours * Competitive hourly rate * Supportive working environment * Opportunity to develop your Early Years experience * A rewarding role working directly with young children * Ongoing support from Nala Recruitment Interested?
