An FE College is seeking an experienced A Level Computing Lecturer to join their team on a full-time temporary basis from May through to the end of the academic year. This is a great opportunity to step into a well-structured department and support learners through the final stretch of their A Level studies.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging A Level Computing lessons to students aged 16-18
  • Prepare students for exams and final assessments
  • Support coursework, programming projects, and theory elements
  • Track progress and provide targeted intervention where needed
  • Work collaboratively with the wider IT/Computing department

Requirements:

  • Experience teaching A Level Computing / Computer Science
  • Strong knowledge of programming (e.g. Python, Java or similar)
  • Previous FE or Sixth Form teaching experience preferred
  • Relevant teaching qualification (PGCE / Cert Ed) desirable
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain)
