The Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust has embarked on implementing a new inventory system to improve stock control visibility, reduce costs, and increase patient safety through the Scan4Safety initiative. We are looking for a pro-active, organised, self-motivated and ambitious Stock Controller to join our Inventory Management Team.
Responsibilities
- Maintain stock control management in Theatres areas using the Ingenica 360 Inventory system.
- Daily communication with clinicians and suppliers.
- Manage all products tracked to patients and support implementation of the new system across new areas.
- Work as part of a team or independently with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Excellent IT skills, experience in IT stock control systems and Microsoft packages.
- Great communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team or independently.
- Full-time, 12-month fixed-term post, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:00).
- Ability for frequent prolonged periods of concentration and to respond to complex and urgent situations as they arise.
