We are offering a Band 4 Nursing Associate role in the Emergency Department. We are seeking applications from Nursing Associates who are motivated to learn, develop new skills and competencies, and uphold high standards of care with a focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Join a close, supportive team and take personal ownership for the levels of care our patients receive.
  • Provide the highest standard of evidence-based and research-informed care.
  • Plan, assess and implement individual care programmes for those who need it most.
  • Maintain a compassionate, caring and safe environment for all patients.
  • Utilise knowledge of evidence-based practice to enhance patient care and contribute to planning and evaluating nursing care.

Essential qualifications:

  • Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register
  • Nursing Associate foundation degree qualification
  • GCSE in English and Maths grade 9 to 4 (A* to C)

Essential experience:

  • Understanding of the scope of the Nursing Associate role within the nursing and interdisciplinary team and organisation, and contribution to service development
  • Understands and acts in line with NMC professional standards for practice contained within The Code

Essential skills:

  • Ability to develop effective and appropriate relationships
  • Ability to participate in reflective practice and clinical supervision activities
