Cornwall IT Services (CITS) manages the county-wide IT infrastructure, data, and voice services for the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly NHS community. CITS is recruiting an IT Customer Support Engineer to join the Unified Communications (UC) team, providing day-to-day remote support for the communications infrastructure.
Main Duties
- Unboxing, configuration, and commissioning of new networking equipment.
- Physical installation of wireless access points, including installation of over 1,000 APs across Treliske campus.
- Disposal and safe removal of decommissioned equipment.
- Work under supervision of team leader, with occasional independent work.
- Use of step ladders and other mechanical aids as required.
