Join to apply for the Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist role at NakedK9 Design, LLC. This is a great opportunity to take up a Consultant position in Obstetrics and Gynaecology based at Royal Cornwall Hospital NHS Trust.

The appointee will join the existing team of obstetricians, currently comprising 10 dedicated gynaecologists, 4 dedicated obstetricians, and 6 consultants doing both. The new post holder will be involved in both the acute service, providing obstetric and gynaecology emergency services, and be part of the on-call rota, as well as delivering routine obstetric, gynaecology, and specialist clinics and services.

We have recently had approval to commence designing a new Women’s and Children’s Hospital with construction to be completed in 2031; this is an exciting time to join our team to help inform our new hospital design.

Expectations Of The Postholder:
  • Maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of Obstetrics patients.
  • Share with colleagues responsibility for the day to day management of the Obstetric department.
  • Ensure patient safety and deliver clinical excellence in Obstetric services.
  • Teaching and training of junior staff and medical students where applicable.
  • Have responsibility for ensuring active participation in continuing medical education (CME).
  • Actively participate in both departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and Audit.
  • Attend meetings as appropriate.
  • Fulfil duties of weekly timetable including any out-of-hours responsibilities.
