In a nutshell, we’re all about making the world of wine a better place. We fund and source directly from independent winemakers to bring customers better quality wine for a better price. It’s a different way of doing things, sure. But it works. We’re one of the UK’s favourite wine clubs, shipping over 1 million cases a year to curious wine lovers. And with an ambitious road ahead, we’ve got no plans on plugging the cork on growth.
Our global team is entrepreneurial by nature, obsessive about customer experience and driven by performance. All things that make Naked a great place to grow both personally and professionally. And yes, we like wine. A lot.
We’re looking for a Product Designer who’ll play a central role in shaping our products end-to-end. Your designs will have a real, tangible impact on how customers discover, choose, and enjoy great wine. You’ll work side-by-side with product managers and cross-functional teams to build experiences that customers rave about.
Location & Flexible Working - This is a hybrid role and can be London or Norwich based with at least one monthly trip to the primary office.
Requirements
- Innovative Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with product managers and cross-functional teams to understand our customers' needs and design great solutions and take those solutions through to delivery.
- User-Centric Research: Plan and conduct user research to capture valuable insights, validate hypotheses, and continuously improve the digital experience for our customers.
- Design System Development: Partner with the UX team to evolve the Naked Wines design system, practices, and processes, ensuring consistency and excellence across all products.
- Creative Design: Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate your design ideas and interactions.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of commercial experience as a Product Designer with a strong portfolio of case studies showcasing your design process and problem-solving skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Figma (preferred), Sketch, and/or Adobe XD.
- User-Centered Design: A deep understanding and passion for user-centered design principles.
- Visual Excellence: Exceptional visual design skills with a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
- Independence and Teamwork: A self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationales to stakeholders.
- Data-Driven Design: Experience with A/B testing and data tools, using results and data to inform design decisions.
- Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of industry-standard design principles and approaches.
- Agile Experience: Experience working in Agile development environments.
You have:
- Ambition: translating strategy into action through projects, tasks and processes.
- Judgement: identifying the need for tactical change, leading implementation.
- Discipline: following results closely and adapting plans as necessary.
- Influence: facilitating collaboration.
- Accountability: delivering results – identifying issues and setting up ways to avoid them.
And finally, you live by our Naked values:
- You support all stakeholders from the Winemaker, through to the Customer. We are Naked Together.
- You embrace growth, pushing yourself out of your comfort zone to overcome obstacles.
- You always start with our customers and winemakers.
- You keep it simple and are data-led, from the wine itself to the ways of working.
- You do the right thing, holding yourself accountable with honesty and openness.
