What You’ll Be Doing
- Be the friendly face and sharp mind advising on data protection across the UK, Australia, and the US
- Serve as the primary point of contact with privacy regulators
- Partner with our product, tech, and commercial teams to bake privacy into what we build without slowing things down
- Advise our procurement and tech teams on evolving AI policy and regulatory frameworks
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with a privacy lens
- Keep our privacy policies, data processes, and training fresh and practical
- Spot changes in the law before they land on our doorstep and help us navigate them
- Translate complex legal issues into plain English that makes sense to non‑lawyers
- Jump in on other commercial projects and deals when Naked needs you
Requirements
- You love wine
- Ideally you are UK‑qualified (but if you’re qualified elsewhere and pragmatic, we’re listening)
- You have 3‑5 years of experience working on data protection and privacy
- You have a sharp pen and are fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Bonus points if you have some in‑house experience or counseling consumer‑good clients.
- Extra bonus points if you’ve thrived in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial setting
