A Business Executive is responsible for the following:
- Business News Sourcing: Engagement with clients and consultants for potential business opportunities, realising it from 'News' to 'Tender' to 'Award' with guidance from the manager. Identify potential business opportunities from market research and analysis.
- Business Department Duties: Carry out day-to-day Business Department duties such as preparing board papers for Headquarters (HQ) approval, conducting research and market analysis for business opportunities, competitors, and other market trends, preparing prequalification for checking and submissions, and carrying out other business administrative tasks under management guidance. Regularly discuss the timeline of all tasks with the team and ensure timely deliverables.
- Tender Support & Coordination: Provide support during the tender stage by coordinating with other departments and compiling tender submittals with quality and on time, organising and facilitating Risk Assessment & Value Engineering sessions, coordinating discussions with consultants for D&B tenders, and preparing tender presentations during tender interviews as well as corporate presentations, presenting when necessary.
- Others: Plan and execute business events throughout the financial year. Plan and execute marketing initiatives for the company throughout the financial year. Write and publish marketing initiatives such as company newsletters and brochures.
