About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Coffee Machine Service Technician to join our growing technical team.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years' hands-on experience servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing both traditional espresso machines and bean-to-cup coffee machines in commercial environments.
This role requires a highly skilled engineer with excellent fault-finding abilities, strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional technical support to cafés, restaurants, offices, hotels and other commercial customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Install commercial coffee machines at customer sites.
- Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, hydraulic and mechanical faults.
- Service both traditional espresso machines (single, two and three group) and fully automatic bean-to-cup systems.
- Perform water filtration installation and maintenance.
- Calibrate grinders and coffee equipment to ensure optimum beverage quality.
- Replace defective components including pumps, boilers, valves, solenoids, sensors, control boards and brewing units.
- Test equipment thoroughly following repairs to ensure full operational performance.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdown calls.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete digital job reports.
- Manage van stock and ensure availability of commonly used spare parts.
- Provide customers with operational training and basic maintenance guidance.
- Liaise with technical support and manufacturers where necessary.
- Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.
- Build and maintain excellent customer relationships through professional service.
- Minimum
5 years' commercial experience servicing coffee equipment.
