AECOM is seeking a Data Centre CA Principal Electrical Engineer to join their team in Belfast. Job Description
As a Principal Electrical Engineer within AECOM's Data Centre MEP team, you will be instrumental in running projects and taking ownership of project delivery. This involves providing specialised technical input for studies and design, preparing contract documentation and specifications, and managing project workload to meet critical deadlines.
You will lead a team of engineers on electrical scopes while collaborating with a wider multi-disciplinary team, presenting technical solutions to clients, and participating in design team meetings. Furthermore, the role involves liaising with various stakeholders including clients, contractors, and suppliers, alongside mentoring junior and intermediate engineers within the group.
Requirements
- Post-graduate experience in a building services design role with a specific focus on data centres.
- Conversant with ETAP, Relux/Dialux, MS Project, AutoCAD, and Revit software packages.
- Master’s degree qualified (or with requisite post qualification experience) in electrical engineering, preferably with a building services bias.
- Member of a professional accreditation body, IET or CIBSE CEng accredited or actively working towards it.
- Experience in leading and supervising multi-disciplinary design teams on a wide range of medium to large-scale projects.
