Job Description
This is a pivotal co-ordination and senior administrative position within the Divisional office, Function/Cluster local offices. The successful candidate will provide essential corporate support for office-based activities, underpinning the work of both Divisional and operational teams. This role serves as a crucial interface between the Hub Manager, Business Manager, colleagues, and external partners on a diverse array of issues.
Reporting to the Hub Manager or Business Manager, this position carries significant line management responsibilities for Administrative Assistants, Case Administrators, and other administrative staff. The core purpose is to ensure the provision of efficient and effective business support and operational administrative services across the Division, Function, or Cluster, contributing directly to the Ministry's impactful work.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior administrative or co-ordination role, ideally within a complex organizational structure.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop staff, including addressing performance, attendance, and diversity matters.
- Strong understanding and commitment to equality and inclusion, and adherence to policies regarding sensitive/confidential information.
- Capability to undertake and coordinate health and safety risk assessments, fire drills, and ergonomic assessments.
- The right to work in the UK, either as a UK resident or through successful acquisition of a Skilled Worker visa sponsored by the Ministry of Justice.
