About the Role

We are an experienced home care provider looking for caring, reliable and dedicated Domiciliary Care Workers to join our growing team on a full-time basis.

You will support service users in their own homes, helping them live safely, comfortably and as independently as possible. This is a rewarding role for someone who genuinely enjoys helping others and providing high-quality, person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

As a Domiciliary Care Worker, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting service users with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Assisting with meal preparation and ensuring service users receive appropriate nutrition.
• Administering medication in accordance with care plans and your training.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Assisting with light domestic duties and household tasks.
• Following individual care plans, risk assessments and company procedures.
• Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any changes in a service user’s condition.
• Working closely with families, healthcare professionals and supervisors where required.
• Promoting the dignity, independence and wellbeing of every service user.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who are:

• Warm, caring, patient and compassionate.
• Reliable, punctual and responsible.
• Able to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
• Willing to complete an enhanced DBS check.
• Willing to complete all required training.
• Previous experience in domiciliary care, residential care or support work is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Important: Applicants must have a valid UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle, as the role involves travelling between service users’ homes.
