The role involves visiting clients in their own homes and providing practical and personal support to help them remain independent, safe and comfortable in their own surroundings.

Key Responsibilities
As part of the community care team, you will visit clients in their homes and provide support that promotes independence and wellbeing.
Your duties may include:
- Providing personal care and assistance with daily activities
- Supporting clients with medication
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Helping individuals remain independent within their homes
- Promoting clients’ safety, dignity and wellbeing
- Communicating effectively with clients, families and other professionals
- Maintaining appropriate care standards and service delivery
The successful candidate should demonstrate empathy, self-awareness, strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to providing high-quality care.
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Previous experience in domiciliary/home care
- At least 3 months of continuous domiciliary care experience; the listing also states 1 year of home-care experience as mandatory
- A full UK driving licence for a car or motorcycle
- Own transport is essential
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to undertake face-to-face training and self-development
- Right to work in the United Kingdom
DBS and References
An Enhanced DBS check and employment references will be requested before a position is offered.
Working Hours and Overtime
The successful candidate will work 42 hours per week on a fixed two-week rota.
There may also be opportunities to work additional hours to cover holidays and staff absences, subject to availability and business requirements.
