Although second-stage interviews for sponsorship candidates are temporarily on hold, successful applicants will be added to the employer’s
Sponsorship Switch Talent Pool and contacted when suitable sponsored vacancies become available.
Key Responsibilities
As a Homecare Assistant, you will
- Provide high-quality care and support in clients’ own homes.
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare and serve meals.
- Support clients with medication.
- Help with shopping, laundry, and light household duties.
- Work alongside health and social care professionals to deliver excellent care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records and visit notes.
Requirements
Applicants should have
- At least one year of care experience .
- A valid UK driving licence and access to a car, motorbike, or moped.
- Compassion, empathy, and a caring attitude.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- A positive approach to teamwork and delivering person-centred care.
- The ability to work independently while supporting clients with dignity and respect.
- Salary & Working Hours
- £13.40 per hour
- (weekdays and weekends)
- £2.10 per client visit
- Guaranteed
- 37.5 hours per week
- Full-time rota covering morning, lunchtime, afternoon, and evening care visits.
