Registered Care Manager β Domiciliary Care
A growing domiciliary care provider is seeking an experienced Registered Care Manager to lead its regulated personal care service across Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent and Wolverhampton.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity based in Stafford, with some flexibility to work remotely. Visa sponsorship is available for a suitable candidate.
About the Role
The successful candidate will provide day-to-day leadership of the domiciliary care service, ensuring high standards of care, strong compliance and effective service delivery.
The role offers genuine autonomy, supported by a director who encourages professional development and service growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the domiciliary care service.
- Ensure the service remains compliant with CQC regulations and inspection-ready.
- Recruit, induct, supervise and manage care staff.
- Build positive relationships with service users, families and external professionals.
- Develop, review and audit risk assessments and person-centred care plans.
- Manage staff rotas, records and reporting using care-management systems.
- Handle safeguarding concerns, complaints and incidents professionally and in line with company policies.
- Provide coaching, training and support to care staff.
- Monitor quality and drive continuous improvement across the service.
- Support the ongoing development and expansion of the organisation.
Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Experience as a CQC Registered Manager within regulated personal care.
- At least 2 yearsβ experience with CQC registration and inspections.
- Proven experience leading and managing a care team.
- A strong understanding of CQC regulations and adult social care standards.
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or be working towards it.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Experience supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism is desirable but not essential.
Salary and Benefits
Salary: Β£33,500 per year and upwards
