Key Responsibilities

As a Trainee Fitter, you will

  • Learn how to template, install, and finish granite and quartz worktops.
  • Assist experienced fitters with daily installation projects.
  • Load and unload worktops safely.
  • Help transport materials to customer sites across the UK.
  • Level, secure, and finish worktops using professional installation techniques.
  • Apply silicone and complete finishing work to a high standard.
  • Share driving responsibilities during site visits.
  • Deliver excellent customer service throughout every installation.
  • Work approximately 55 hours per week with regular nationwide travel.
  • Candidate Requirements

Applicants should have

  • A full UK driving licence held for at least one year (penalty points may be accepted).
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Good physical fitness for lifting and installation work.
  • A clear DBS/CRB check.
  • A reliable and punctual work ethic.
  • Previous experience in construction, maintenance, installation, or a trade is beneficial but not essential.
  • At least one year of experience in repair, maintenance, installation, or nationwide working is desirable.
