Key Responsibilities
As a Trainee Fitter, you will
- Learn how to template, install, and finish granite and quartz worktops.
- Assist experienced fitters with daily installation projects.
- Load and unload worktops safely.
- Help transport materials to customer sites across the UK.
- Level, secure, and finish worktops using professional installation techniques.
- Apply silicone and complete finishing work to a high standard.
- Share driving responsibilities during site visits.
- Deliver excellent customer service throughout every installation.
- Work approximately 55 hours per week with regular nationwide travel.
- Candidate Requirements
Applicants should have
- A full UK driving licence held for at least one year (penalty points may be accepted).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Good physical fitness for lifting and installation work.
- A clear DBS/CRB check.
- A reliable and punctual work ethic.
- Previous experience in construction, maintenance, installation, or a trade is beneficial but not essential.
- At least one year of experience in repair, maintenance, installation, or nationwide working is desirable.
