Key Responsibilities
As a Shop Assistant, your duties will include:
- Welcoming customers and providing friendly, professional service.
- Operating the till and processing cash and card payments accurately.
- Restocking shelves and maintaining attractive product displays.
- Checking stock levels and rotating products appropriately.
- Keeping the store clean, organised and tidy.
- Receiving, unloading and putting away deliveries.
- Checking product expiry dates and removing out-of-date stock.
- Following food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures.
