About the RoleAs a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children’s learning and development through engaging educational activities and high-quality care. You will work closely with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure every child receives the support they need during their early years.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging learning activities tailored to children’s individual needs.
- Supervise children during play, learning, meals, and daily routines.
- Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and development of every child.
- Monitor children’s progress and maintain accurate developmental records.
- Build positive relationships with parents and provide regular updates on their child’s progress.
- Support daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and educational activities.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and safeguarding within the nursery.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Attend staff meetings and training to support continuous professional development.
Applicants should have:
- Experience working in a nursery or childcare setting.
- A qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of child development and early years education.
