About the RoleThe Lion Hotel features 40 guest rooms alongside a full Food & Beverage operation. As Hotel Manager, you will oversee every aspect of the hotel’s daily operations while working closely with the leadership team to drive operational excellence, staff development, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage services.
- Lead, motivate, train, and supervise hotel staff to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Ensure guests receive an exceptional hospitality experience and resolve any issues professionally.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff retention alongside company directors.
- Develop and improve operational procedures to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Monitor budgets, financial performance, and cost-control measures.
- Ensure compliance with UK health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Foster a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork and professional development.
- Build strong relationships with local suppliers, partners, and community organisations.
Applicants should have:
- Previous experience in hotel management or a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- Proven experience managing and leading successful teams.
