About the Role

As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will support the pharmacy team in the safe and accurate dispensing of medicines while providing excellent customer service and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations. You’ll work closely with pharmacists to help deliver high-quality care to patients in a professional and modern pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparing, labelling, and dispensing prescriptions under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
  • Monitor stock levels, receive deliveries, and maintain inventory records.
  • Provide friendly customer service and answer routine patient enquiries.
  • Refer complex medication questions to the pharmacist.
  • Maintain accurate pharmacy records and process administrative tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy legislation, confidentiality, and health and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and professional dispensing environment.

Skills and Requirements

  • Previous pharmacy experience (preferred).
  • A dispensing qualification (desirable, but full training is available for suitable candidates).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Basic IT skills and familiarity with pharmacy management systems (experience with Analyst PMR is an advantage).
