Domiciliary Care Worker (Female) - UK Visa Sponsorship Available

A care provider is looking for a caring, compassionate and dedicated Domiciliary Care Worker to support clients in their own homes. The role involves helping clients with daily activities, promoting independence and improving their overall quality of life.

Skilled Worker visa sponsorship may be considered for eligible candidates who require sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

As a Domiciliary Care Worker, your duties may include:

• Supporting clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Preparing healthy meals based on individual dietary requirements and preferences.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Assisting with medication management and following prescribed care routines.
• Supporting clients with limited mobility, including safe movement and ambulation.
• Implementing appropriate behaviour-management strategies for clients with specific needs.
• Organising social activities and outings to encourage participation and interaction.
• Maintaining accurate records of care provided.
• Reporting any changes in a client’s condition to the relevant healthcare professionals.

Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• At least 1 year of care work experience.
• UK driving licence.
• Access to a vehicle.
• Right to work in the UK.
• GCSE or equivalent qualification.
• DBS Certificate on the Update Service is preferred.
• Current mandatory training, including:
  • Moving and Handling
  • Basic Life Support
  • Safeguarding Adults
  • Safeguarding Children

Applicants may also be asked whether they hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service.

Salary

Up to £26,000 per year

Work Location

The role is primarily based in Gainsborough South West, Lincolnshire, and is particularly suitable for applicants who live nearby or are within reasonable travelling distance.

Work environment: Clients' homes
Working days: Monday to Friday
Travel: Required between client locations
