Position Description

An exciting opportunity to join a world-leading designer and manufacturer of specialized marine systems for the commercial ship, military ship and luxury yacht market sectors.

Immediate opening within Naiad Dynamics UK LTD. at our Southampton office reporting locally to the General Manager. We are a dynamic team of professionals supplying our highly successful technology-based products worldwide. We are seeking a hands-on, organized, efficient, self-starter with an enthusiastic attitude.

As a spares and service coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering timely and effective technical support. The idea candidate is technically or mechanically inclined, possesses excellent communication skills and is committed to resolving customer issues with a high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquires and issues related to our products and services.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and provide step-by-step guidance for issue resolution.
  • Identify and quote required parts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Process customer orders and proactively review and work with purchasing and manufacturing departments to ensure on time delivery. Notify customers of any delays and update them on shipping information.
  • Order fulfillment – select inventory, professionally pack and label parts for shipment.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with customers via phone and email
  • Ensure a positive customer experience by addressing concerns and providing solutions in a clear and concise manner.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their technical issues are resolved to their satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with team members and management to enhance overall customer support efficiency.
  • Identify stock-outs and low-stock for reorder.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience in a technical support role.
  • General knowledge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic components, systems preferred
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve technical issues effectively.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • High School diploma, higher education or certification preferred.
  • Computer literate and efficient, Sage 200 would be beneficial, Microsoft Office applications, Excel and Word.
  • Prior use of MRP and/or ERP systems in a production work environment.
  • Reliable and effective communication skills.
  • Must be reliable, fast & accurate with attention to detail, and able to thrive in a fast paced multivariable environment
