Our client are looking for a Multi Skilled Panel Technician to join its group of body shops that have been repairing accident damaged cars for customers since 2000. With continuous investment in the latest technology and training, alongside standing as employer or choice in the area this is a great time to join this growing business
OBJECTIVES
- Accurately and skilfully undertake the panel repair/replacement on motor vehicles
- Fulfil all tasks to the customer\’s complete satisfaction
- Detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repair
- Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with manufacturer and industry standards
- Carry out all repairs according to best practice procedures.
- Ensure that where available manufacturer data and information is used
- Interpret and implement technical instruction data insuring correct welding equipment and technique are used
- Meeting acceptable safety and quality standards
- Ensure body alignment equipment is used accurately on all body repairs
- Interpret and follow job card in instruction seeking clarification from the Bodyshop Estimator if job card is not clear or seems incorrect
- Complete assigned jobs within the estimated repair times
- Safeguard the customer\’s vehicle and its contents while in the workshop
- Ensure that all vehicles comply with safety standards when returned to customer
Ensuring all work is completed safely and complies with retailer, manufacturer and industry standards. Report accurately all materials and hours used on each repair whilst keeping wastage to a minimum. Undertake other tasks as requested by the manager
Salary upto 50k (Multi skilled depending on expeirence) plus benefits
