We are seeking skilled and reliable Class 1 Drivers to join our client's team based in the Hemel Hempstead area. This role involves trunking operations between branches and presents an excellent opportunity for drivers wishing to work with a well-established and respected company.
Requirements For The Class 1 Driver Role
- A minimum of 18 months' experience operating Category C+E (Class 1) vehicles.
- Proven ability to complete trunking runs efficiently and safely.
- Possession of a valid UK driving licence, CPC qualification, and Digital Tachograph card.
- No more than six penalty points on your driving licence (excluding DR or IN endorsements).
Role Details
- Pay Rate: £19.50 per hour
- Available Shifts: Morning and night shifts
- Location: Hemel Hempstead
- Contract Duration: Ongoing
Key Responsibilities
- Complete 5 to 6 trunking runs per shift.
- Operate curtain-sided vehicles, involving curtain operation only — no unloading duties required.
- Carry out thorough vehicle safety checks before and after each shift.
- Demonstrate flexibility and dedication to completing runs safely and on schedule.
- Maintain a professional demeanour as an ambassador of the company's brand.
