We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to lead the strategic management of our marketing. As a senior manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing the marketing team, ensuring effective implementation of a clear marketing strategy at store level and act as the key link between the company and external marketing agencies. This is an exciting senior management opportunity for a commercially minded and creative manager to establish and shape the marketing strategy within our business.

Responsibilities:

  • Development and delivery of the corporate brand according to our brand summary and company ethos
  • Evaluating and developing the overall marketing concept with senior management
  • Creation of a strategic marketing plan with senior management
  • Responsible for the effective implementation of our brand standards at operational level
  • Responsible for identifying opportunities to build brand awareness
  • Planning, directing, and managing all marketing activities at store level
  • Set the marketing budget in conjunction with senior management
  • Manage the relationship with marketing agencies for the company, ensuring projects meet business objectives and are delivered on time, in budget and achieve measurable results
  • Managing and developing the marketing team
  • Development of our garden centre app in conjunction with senior management
  • Development and maintenance of our company website and e-commerce platform
  • Developing promotions, campaigns and events with operational managers
  • Overseeing social media marketing strategy and content marketing
  • Analysing key marketing performance metrics and providing market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, and consumer trends
  • Ensuring best practices are followed and monitor marketing plans across the business

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in a Marketing Manager or Senior Marketing role
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience working in the marketing industry
  • Proven strategic planning and decision‑making skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercial awareness and results‑driven mindset

Role Type: Permanent, part time 2-3 days a week
