Nagels UK Limited is an industry-leading print business with its primary production facility and head office based in Kempen, Germany. The company operates 13 divisions globally, including an established and growing presence in the UK. The UK business supplies printed products and services across a wide range of sectors, including parking, public transport, leisure, and healthcare. Our offering includes both printed and non-printed solutions such as ticketing, labels, operational print, and a wide range of sector-specific products—providing our partners with a true one-stop solution.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed, enthusiastic, and reliable Business Development Manager to join our small but successful UK team based at our office and distribution facility in Hull, reporting to Nagels UK, Head of Sales.

Your profile:

  • Proven experience in sales and account management
  • Previous experience within the UK parking sector would be highly advantageous, but is not essential
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Full UK clean driving licence
  • Print or ticketing product knowledge is an advantage; full training provided
  • You will be computer literate, well organised, and confident in both written and verbal communication, with a flexible and proactive approach to work

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential clients and generate new sales leads
  • Manage and develop existing customer accounts
  • Communicate effectively with customers, both verbally and in writing
  • Coordinate customer meetings and site visits to maximise opportunities
  • Prepare and complete sales contracts and agreements
  • Monitor accounts and ensure ongoing customer support
  • Work closely with internal teams and departments to optimise success
  • Create, maintain, and update accurate customer records
  • Generate and manage a strong and sustainable sales pipeline
  • Provide product pricing while ensuring profitability and regional growth
