Nagarro is supporting a major banking client on a Trade Surveillance transformation programme and is looking for an experienced Data Architect to lead a discovery engagement focused on data architecture, migration planning and surveillance data readiness.
This is not an implementation role .
The focus is on understanding the current data landscape, assessing migration requirements, defining logical data architecture and producing a roadmap for a future Trade Surveillance platform rollout.
- What you'll be doing
- Assessing upstream systems, trade flows and source data feeding Trade Surveillance processes
- Leading data discovery and data landscape assessments
- Identifying critical data domains, lineage and key data elements
- Conducting gap analysis between current and future state capabilities
- Developing conceptual and logical data models
- Assessing migration effort, dependencies and risks
- Aligning findings with existing data governance frameworks
- Working closely with business, data and technology stakeholders
- Producing recommendations, priorities and delivery roadmaps
Experience required
- Strong Data Architecture experience within Capital Markets
- Deep understanding of trade lifecycle concepts and front-office trading environments
- Experience across asset classes such as FX, Rates, Equities, Derivatives or Fixed Income
- Strong data modelling, lineage and architecture assessment experience
- Background in large-scale data transformation or migration programmes
- Ability to operate independently and lead discovery activities
- Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
Desirable
- Trade Surveillance experience
- Market Abuse, Conduct Risk or Regulatory Reporting knowledge
- Exposure to platforms such as Trading Hub, Steel Eye, NICE Actimize or Nasdaq SMARTS
- Banking or Capital Markets consulting background
