Site Manager – £100m New Build Commercial Development Central London – Zone 1 Leading Tier 1 Main Contractor £65,000 – £70,000 + Car / Travel Allowance + Bonus + Excellent Package Permanent Nadson Consulting are working with one of the UKs leading privately owned Tier 1 main contractors to appoint experienced Site Managers for a major £100m new-build commercial development in Zone 1, Central London. This is a flagship, high-specification scheme being delivered in a prominent Central London location and represents an excellent opportunity to join an established project team on a technically challenging build. The project will incorporate premium commercial office accommodation, complex structural and façade packages, extensive MEP services and exceptionally high-quality internal finishes, with the successful Site Managers taking responsibility for key elements of the construction through to completion. The Role Working as part of an experienced project leadership team, responsibilities will include: * Managing key construction and/or fit-out packages from commencement through to completion * Day-to-day management of specialist subcontractors and site activities * Driving short-term programme and ensuring key milestones are achieved * Maintaining exceptional standards of quality across a high-specification development * Managing Health & Safety and ensuring works are completed in accordance with company procedures * Coordinating closely with design, MEP, commercial and planning teams * Identifying potential programme, design or delivery issues before they impact the works * Managing inspections, QA processes and snagging through to handover * Building strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and the wider project team The Individual We are particularly interested in Site Managers who can demonstrate: * A strong background working for recognised Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractors * Experience delivering major new-build projects within Central London * Commercial office experience would be highly advantageous * Experience managing structural, envelope or high-spec internal packages * Strong understanding of construction sequencing and short-term programming * Excellent subcontractor management skills * A genuine eye for quality and attention to detail * Strong communication and leadership skills * SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid Experience on projects in the £50m–£150m+ range would be particularly relevant.
