We are partnered with a busy MEP subcontractor that has multiple Electrical Site Manager requirements across residential and commercial CAT B fit-out projects in London. These roles are ideal for experienced Electrical Site Managers or Supervisors and Senior / Lead Electricians looking to step up into Site Management.
Projects range from steady-paced residential remedial works through to fast-paced commercial office fit-outs.
The Role
You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of electrical works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, compliantly, to programme and to a high quality standard. Key duties will include:
- Managing and supervising electrical operatives and subcontractors
- Leading Health & Safety on site (RAMS, inductions, briefings)
- Delivering daily briefings and weekly toolbox talks
- Coordinating electrical installations
- Interface works with other trades and specialist contractors
- Ownership of Quality Assurance, inspections, snagging and close-out
- Maintaining red-line / as-built drawings
- Managing site documentation, registers and compliance records
- Ordering materials and coordinating site logistics
- Liaising closely with Project Management, design teams and client reps
- Supporting testing, commissioning and handover activities where required
Requirements
- Electrical trade background (Site Manager or step-up candidate)
- SSSTS
- ECS Gold or Black Card
- City & Guilds Electrical qualification
- Strong understanding of electrical compliance & QA
- Previous experience within an MEP contracting environment
- Exposure to CAT A / CAT B commercial fit-outs
- Familiarity with digital site systems (e.g. online inductions, QA apps, workforce platforms)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
