The Opportunity is in an insight and strategy consultancy working with some of the world's leading brands. They are entering a new phase of growth and are seeking a Director with a specialism in commercial strategy. This is a senior, client facing role focused on delivering rigorous commercial strategies to senior clients. You will work alongside fellow Directors across quant, qual, and analytics to lead complex projects and build lasting client relationships.
The Role focuses on leading growth strategy engagements. Crafting, engaging and deploying senior level strategies for global clients. Adept at crafting strategies from diverse inputs from stakeholder perspectives to complex data and insight. You will manage clients and projects from briefing through to final delivery, working closely with specialists across insight and data teams. Beyond delivery, you will be expected to build senior client relationships and identify opportunities to expand the scope of our work.
Strategic Delivery- Understand clients' strategic and commercial needs before developing and delivering bespoke solutions to meet those needs.
- Lead and deliver growth strategy projects driven by a backbone of consumer and commercial understanding across a range of clients and sectors.
- Hands on, end to end management of complex client projects.
- Use all types of client data and consumer insight to advise C suite clients on their strategy and direction.
- Translate complex data and insight into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Ensure all work is rigorous, insight led, and delivers measurable client impact.
- Provide deep expertise in commercial strategy including growth strategy, brand strategy, portfolio strategy, innovation strategy, and market entry.
- Support clients to identify and unlock commercial opportunities.
- Apply analytical rigour to strategic challenges, working closely with data and analytics colleagues.
- Maintain current knowledge of market trends, competitive dynamics, and best practice.
- Lead and grow key client relationships at senior and C suite level.
- Build strong working relationships with client teams at multiple levels.
- Present strategic recommendations with clarity and conviction.
- Provide constructive challenge and a point of view that adds value.
